Refund Policy

1. Refund Eligibility

We want you to be completely satisfied with our services. Refunds are available under the following conditions:

Full refund: If you cancel your order before lawyer review has started.

No refund: Once lawyer review has begun, refunds are not available as professional services have been rendered.

2. How to Request a Refund

  1. Go to your Orders page in your Legalyatra dashboard.
  2. Find the order you want to cancel.
  3. If the status is “Payment Pending” or “AI Draft”, you can request a cancellation.
  4. Alternatively, email support@legalyatra.com with your order ID.

3. Processing Time

Approved refunds are processed within 5-7 business days. The refund will be credited to the original payment method (UPI, bank account, or card).

4. Non-Refundable Situations

  • Orders where lawyer review has already begun or been completed.
  • Documents that have been delivered (PDF or physical).
  • Errors caused by incorrect information provided by the user during intake.
  • Change of mind after document delivery.

5. Revisions

If you find errors in your document that were caused by our system or the reviewing lawyer:

  • Essential plan: We will correct the document at no additional cost within 7 days of delivery.
  • Standard plan: Includes 1 free revision. Additional revisions are charged at ₹199 each.

6. Disputes

If you are not satisfied with our refund decision, you may escalate by emailing grievance@legalyatra.com. We will review your case and respond within 72 hours.
